AMBUSH! Battle Guide
AMBUSH! lets visitors try a fast public battle with demo heroes. The mode teaches turn order, HP bars, class skills, status effects, and reward flow before a player connects a wallet.
- Pick three demo heroes, usually one damage dealer, one front-line hero, and one support option.
- The next ready hero is highlighted after each action. Basic Attack is always available.
- Skills can hit harder, heal, shield, or control enemies, but many skills have cooldowns.
- Victories can recover heroes or rare gear for the Stronghold owner after battle completion saves.
Mortals And Warfare
Mortals are the town army. They can be generated from eligible hero pairs, combined into stronger rarities, fed for temporary bonuses, equipped for raids, and assigned to defend the Stronghold.
- Manual and automatic generation use eligible hero pairs and daily limits.
- Paid Mortal generation resets restore the daily generation pool when the count reaches zero.
- Feeding Mortals spends food and applies temporary attack or defense bonuses.
- Generated, combined, and fed Mortals use separate save mutations to protect current game state.
Professions And Resources
Professions are the reliable way to build a Stronghold. Farming, mining, gathering, and related jobs send heroes out in groups, return resources, and sometimes find special items.
- Farming produces Wheat, Corn, Herbs, Cotton, and Ancient Seeds.
- Mining produces Stone, Iron Ore, Coal, Clay, and Deep Crystals.
- Gathering produces Fish, Shells, Wood, Pearls, and Tide Pearls.
- Tool, storage, and profession upgrades save through targeted mutations instead of old full saves.
Item Sources
Special items open encounters, craft gear, or mark progress through the Stronghold map. Inventory groups basic resources, build materials, encounter keys, hero equipment, and mythic unknowns.
- Backdoor Keys open the Backdoor encounter.
- House Seals are awarded from the House route and unlock Mountain Stairs.
- Rocboc Toys can appear from Mountain Stairs rewards and open Tune's Questions.
- Broken Compasses and other encounter pieces appear as the map expands.
Optional Rewarded Ads
DFK Stronghold is designed for player-triggered rewarded ads only. The game does not use passive banner ads, auto ads, interstitials on navigation, ads on login screens, or ads on error pages.
- Reward prompts must live inside normal game systems where the offered reward is clear.
- Players can keep playing without watching an ad.
- Rewards are in-game resources or progression only, not cash, cryptocurrency, gift cards, or payment from Google.
- A reward is granted only after a completed rewarded-ad event, followed by an atomic cloud save.
